2Loose Willy's Gasser Project, .....................

Found a pair of junk "dog dish" hubcaps off some four letter unmentionable vehicle of one sort or another, but looked like they might be useful in a rainstorm to keep the air filters from flooding out and chocking off the carbs....

Here's what I had and I do know how it can downpour here, and I also know how it can choke out an exposed filter/carb setup like this...

I really like these velocity stacks, and definitely want air filters on this motor, but as I have been caught in our rain downpours in the past, I know what I am in for, so when I ran across these, I thought I should check it out....

OK, With a little trimming (and hacking) here and there these might work....

Yup, they give about 2" all around the air filters, will keep off the rain, and just might perform well in good weather as well as in the rain....

A very interesting look, sorta like a couple stainless mushrooms mounted up there....
